Thank you for helping us approximate the amount of biochar being made across Utah. Summit County has two biochar kilns that they are currently loaning out (for free) to any interested party. USU Forestry Extension, the Utah Biomass Resources Group and our partners will use this data to help measure the number of days these kilns have been in use, and quantify the amount of biochar that was created. This information is important to USU Extension - we appreciate your feedback on this important program.

If you have questions, please contact megan.dettenmaier@usu.edu (435) 797-8424.

If you are interested in borrowing these kilns, please contact Darren McAvoy: darren.mcavoy@usu.edu
